PUMA Running - Retreat Gear Review
When PUMA re-emerged into the running space in 2020 by signing Molly Seidel and a host of other female athletes, they signaled that women's running would be central to their mission. PUMA is Sparking Change in the running space by empowering women athletes and initiatives. We were thrilled to partner with PUMA for our Fall Retreat and felt that their mission echoed our own in our efforts to inspire and connect women runners.
PUMA generously sent each of our Rise.Run.Retreat. participants and staff members some of their latest Women’s Running apparel and running shoes. We've loved testing out the head-to-toe outfit!
PUMA Deviate Nitro SP Wins Women’s Running Shoes
The PUMA Deviate Nitro women’s running shoes are light and feel fast. The shoes we received are the White Green Glare Colorway. According to PUMA,” At the bottom, you get durable, PUMAGRIP traction and a carbon fiber INNOPLATE. This innovative plate acts as a lever for maximum energy transfer at toe-off. For the long runs that outlast the daylight, you get 360 reflectivity and lightweight NITRO foam, giving you max cushioning with improved efficiency. Deviate NITRO is a breathable, form-fitting shoe for an effortless run.” I have only just begun to test drive this running shoe but can’t wait to wear them on some of my faster efforts! These shoes retail for $160.
PUMA Women’s Run Favorite Regular Rise Full Tight (Elektro Bleu-$55)
These Tights have recycled material and Puma’s DRYCELL technology. They are moisture wicking and have mesh inserts on the legs. The flat lock seams are great for preventing chafing. There is a drawstring at the waist. The material is soft, and the blue color is accented with pink along the ankle. These are sure to become a favorite pair of running tights.
PUMA Train Cloudspun Full Zip Hoodie (Spellbound Heather-$75)
A crop top hoodie, I may have a hard time keeping this hoodie away from my teenage daughter. The fabric is crazy soft, super stretchy and moisture wicking. This is a perfect addition to your running wardrobe as a warm-up piece for either pre or post run.
PUMA Active Tee (Bridal Rose-$18)
A staple for your fall running wardrobe. The PUMA active tee is form fitting and also has PUMA’s signature DRYCELL technology. Plus the color is pretty perfect too!
